If you want a TWIC then apply. You don't have to have a CDL to get a TWIC.
-
I realize that, but I was mainly referencing the timeline for employment after school.

Some of the members have experienced really long wait times between applying and receiving their TWIC. Others have not. Mine took 10 business days so it's really the luck of the draw. You might want to find out if the company you go to work for will pay/reimburse the cost and go from there.

It can't hurt. Most jobs don't require it but it sure comes in handy if they do.

Same as always...wait to get to phone... wait for usually rude person to ask questions on the phone...answer usually rude person with an overly nice tone...get your junk on and roll! Hasn't changed much.Terry270 Thanks this.

Can't hurt; the sooner the better i.e. i applied for mine on a Wednesday and received my TWIC 3 days later on Saturday. Cost was $125.25.

I applied for my TWIC on a Wednesday and received it 3 days later on Saturday. Luck of the draw indeed
HotH2o Thanks this. -
Nope! Picking your TWIC up at the location is an "option" and the other option is having it mailed to you,so i chose the latter.
