Your not being honest about what happened, how do we know? Because all of us have been on choice and with SFI for years.
Matter of fact I spoke to driver a month or so ago that told me how their rep tried that BUY BACK/ UPGRADE crap on him and he declined and keep rolling in the same truck.

This thread is like pulling teeth. I guess the moral to the story is BEFORE the lease expires communicate your plans with SFI. If you intend to keep the truck be prepared to secure outside financing for the pre determined residual in case further leasing options can not be reached. Idk. That's what I'm going with anyway.

That's not completely accurate. My truck purchase through Freightliner is a lease with no balloon, and at the end of payment 48, it's mine. And I can pay it off early with no penalty.

By the way SFI doesn't do a five yr plan, as already posted it was 1,2 or 3yr lease with option to pay the residsual at the end of the 1, 2 or 3yr term.
Now it's 18months or 36 month flease no more 2yr leases.
They're only going to take back the truck or decline to re/flease if you turn into a liability either by getting tickets or tearing up equipment or getting customer complaints or cheating the system ect.ect.

No one ever posts what one of those trucks costs a month. Just the truck & the buy out.

    I pay $240 week ( $965 month actually ).
Insurance is about $80 week for all of it,Comp, collision, unladen, BT, cargo.

Schnieder probably blows that away though.

Freightliner will go 5 years if you want.

On average a SFI truck will cost 1150 / 1260 per week , thats payment , maintenance ,plates/permits and insurance.
Go with a used it's a lower trk payment but higher maintenance account deduction. New truck higher payment lower mma deduction.
Same with insurance( based on value)
Sign a 3yr lease and truck payment will be slightly less.

Yea, but how much is just the payment?

My plates for North America basically are $2200 year, so $42 week.
    Registration is $800 I think, $15
    2290 is $500, $10
And I squirrel away $200 week for maitenance and repairs.
So that's $587 if you wanna look at it that way.

I've spent about $1300 on maintenance and repairs in 4 months, including about $300 on the APU.

Just passed a Level 1 in Arizona.

Do their trucks come with APU?

How much is the balloon at the end?
