Is wil-trans a good company? I'm looking into them already sent in a app.
G13Tomcat Thanks this. -
Yes, very. Integrated with Jim Palmer somehow, and Prime, as well. Not easy to get into; great equipment. If they'll have you; go for it.
-
Talked to them they require 18 months experienceG13Tomcat Thanks this.
-
Dang. Just keep shooting out apps, man. About all you can do if ya really want to drive. You'll find the right fit.
-
I just need to find a place to drive at least 9 more months so I would have a total of a year of experienceG13Tomcat Thanks this.

There's always Craigslist; there are classifieds on here too. 1099 may not be the 'best' gig, but...if all else fails....
-
applied to transam and heartland express. transam had the stupidest work history wanted me to give a address for unenployment.
G13Tomcat Thanks this. -
Not sure I follow you. What address did they want?!? The office to unemployment in your town? They have really nice equipment, btw. APU's, TV, etc.... so i've heard.
Have you checked CFI? Since they've been bought/sold/merged, they've been pretty relaxed about their requirements with experience etc.... for now, anyway.... until they build their reputation back up.
A guy I know from another forum had a 'lil bit in his past, and they took him on, and he's kicking butt there, about 3 months in.
Heartland, I know nothing about, sorry. If you are up to flatbed, you could try Western Express, also. -
Maybe @djohnson6425 could help you out; he's got a company he works for that he has nothing but good to say of; not sure if they hire in your area, however. Since I tagged him, perhaps he will show up and answer your questions; i'm not sure how to link his thread to here; sorry.
