so to clarify, you are not adding an extra
axle but instead are adding lift capacity to an
    axle you already have.

Only some will accept the bolt on kit. Has to be a newer trailer. I talked to customer support and this is what they told me.

Yep. I don't know the cut off tho. But the difference is if the suspension arms are prettied from the factory. One could simply drill the holes if they really wanted the bolt on. Oh and my trailer is a 2013/built date is late 2012 (forget the exact month and to dark to read it right now) and the suspension had the pre drilled holes.

Figure about 400 for a rock solid fabricator to weld three brackets on. Less for a guy that is so so but when it comes to welding on a suspension or frame i don't want the guy that welds every once in a while, i want the guy that did it ten hours a day, every day, for the last 25 years. The rest is really easy and no reason you can't do it yourself.

Manual. In many states it is illegal for a liftable axle to be able to be operated from the drivers seat.

Do you know what the law on this is or regulation? I had a guy load next to me last week with one that was operated inside the cab and he said he had never heard of it being illegal?

    KB3MMX Thanks this.

Id have to look it up again. However when i was researching mine i did find a reg on it so i went with the box and valves on the outside of the frame rail.

So you mounted a box and put like a switching valve to dump bags and add to lift bags?
