So you dont like per diem? You realize that's tax free money, do the math it equals out to the same per diem or not just without it you gross more with it you net more. I thought this was common sense and simple math. If you can' handle working hard go to a mega where you sit for days waiting on a empty

The OP in this thread hasn’t a clue, I wonder if he/she even lives on the same planet that I do.
Zip to zip is very common man mileage pay
Then he complains about maximizing his eld and driving in adverse weather. I mean someone has to do it otherwise these grocery shelves will go empty. You can handle trucking in the snow? Fine there’s plenty of places like marten that will pay you to be a snow flake. You want to truck and actually know what you’re doing then truck don’t make nanny whoa is me posts you’re a grown man man up

Didn't we see this K&B transit in action on u- tube?
Where they were recorded putting the heat on an exhausted driver that accepted a load without getting the proper rest
....i think his name was Abe and he ended up doing alot of damage to their reputation among many potential drivers

That dudes name was “run hard get paid” what part of running hard equates to sitting on the side of the road crying that “I’m tired” but he has enough energy to make manipulation video to try and gain fame. He just been on break close to 24 hours and he’s tired?

People can cry all they want about their pathetic lives. You’re either a trucker and you truck or your one of these vey babies .

I like PerDiem just fine...but since it is MY benefit and MY money...let ME decide when I want it.
And since it benefits ME more at tax time, don't freaking force me to take it weakly so THEY can benefit as well off MY money.

Paid per dium is like getting paid on a 1099 your getting 0 benefit.
Taking the deduction at years end you get all the advantages of being a company employee, plus the amount reduces your tax bill.

How is ther no benefit? It is pretaxed money that is off the top no taxes. If you want to buy a house or car try paying cash for them

They are not paying into your SS fund.
End of year deduction, company pays into your SS fund, and you get the deduction off your taxable income.
Why do you think they offer it?
Multiply the savings by the number of employees.
