It sounds weird because it is weird - literally, according to the actual dictionary definition of the world weird, it's weird.

But then again, nobody is trying to claim that it's normal. I've never been a big fan of normalcy. Normal people do a lot of really horrible things.

I do OTR and I enjoy it. But if I didn’t, nobody could convince me to do anything. Sounds like you’ve already made your decision. I would only say never quit one job without having another lined up.
