Oil cooler even cups on a D12. Take to your mechanic and get a proper diagnosis.

Sorry to read that. I had a lease truck with a very similar problem. The repair cost was around 5,000$. it was the head gasket. I spotted oil in the coolant. Also the down time seems to be steep. Take it do a dealership.

Oil in the coolant would be a cooler or radiator problem..different than water in the oil problem.Head gasket is the most common failure.

had that on a 3126 Cat motor and it was the block itself.
Got a brand new short block ( not a rebuild) from Cat for 5 grand.
Used it like that about a year until I saved enough to pay for the swap outright; Cash.
If it was water in the oil, instead of the other way around - you're screwed.

Water being where its not supposed to be is always bad news, more than likely a cracked head and water is seeping through the crack into the oil.
