Im a lp hauler & Im lookin for advice on the best way to go about raising my 5th wheel. I have a standard 7" high Holland, but when im grossing around 79k, im weighing around 36k or better on my drives, & only around 31k on the tandems. Looking for advice on how high I should go, & who I could possibly get to do the work around the south MS, southwest LA area

I've researched this to some degree for one of my trucks. If it's a small adjustment, someone could adjust your air-ride leveller a little (too much and it knocks out drive angles). Another option is a plate between the 5th wheel and the frame and longer bolts. I've also seen some farm guys use longer bolts and square tubing to raise it up but I dunno about that. I think for bigger changes you'd need a different bottom half for the 5th wheel.

I need a small adjustment and my driveline is a the lower part of what's kosher so we're just adjusting it with the air-ride. And by we I mean a suspension/alignment shop.

Yup you need taller 5th wheel pedestals. Find your nearest Holland dealer and talk to the parts guys to find taller ones.

Silly question. Would not getting 24.5's do the same thing?
