Recently i was trying to book a load, and one broker told me he cannot give me a load because of negative freightguard report for cancelling load after accepting( which is not true). What can i do in this case and how important this report to another brokers?

4mer trucker and owner/op Thank this. -
Depends. I run every carrier I put on a load through carrier411 first. Carrier411 also allows you an option to issue a rebuttal on any FreightGuards you receive. If I see one report, amd that some time ago, I'll leave it be. I have opted not to call carriers though, that have multiple reports in a short span.
For me, what's more important though, is your safety ratings. FreightGuards are a bit of he said/she said. The safety ratings though... those aren't arbitrary. If you've got #### scores, I'm not putting you on important freight. My company won't use you if you have two or more safety score categories in which your percentiles are above 80%. -
The important thing is to make sure you contest it with freight guard. They should allow you to write your version of events as a response. When brokers don't see a response we (usually correctly) assume that it's true and the carrier didn't even care enough to argue about it.
And this is the answer to the '#### 'em what are they gonna do?' question when it's aimed towards brokers.Shock Therapy and owner/op Thank this. -

I can tell you that I wouldn't let a 'waaaah he fell out on me' write up stop me from using someone. Yeah it sucks, but unless it was 5pm on a Friday and you told them you would be there repeatedly it's not a legit complaint.
I had a carrier tell me point blank not to use the replacement truck that I'd found to cover a truck they were having trouble scheduling once. When that truck didn't show up I was mad enough to write someone up because they had not just not shown up, but had actually stopped me from fixing the problem. I was a lot more mad about the lying than I was about the truck not being available.Shock Therapy Thanks this. -

That doesn't make the trucking company any better though. That kind of thing happening randomly 2-3 times in a short time period CAN cost people real money, so doing it is NOT ok. I'm sorry but if you tell me something it had better be what you believed to be true at the time. If I find out you told me a lie about the substance of things I won't be letting it go.Shock Therapy Thanks this. -
