I was going to "say" the exact same thing... Lol jeez, there's days I don't even have time to seat down and enjoy my lunch break. Actually , most days I eat while driving to my next stop.

Even if I wanted to be lazy like that, I wouldn't be able to because we have a handheld computer where they know where we are and where we are going....

There are 3 Fedex Freights near me. I have applied then interviewed with each of them twice over the past 2 years! Even though they are still hiring, and have been continuously for over 2 years now, all I can get are rejection emails! This is for the driver apprentice program which only require a class A permit. I have my license, 3 months experience in a tractor/trailer as a city driver, as well as a year with Fedex Ground in a straight truck. No criminal history. I guessits just something about me they don't like?

The best thing you could do is go in as a dock worker first then after a few months apply for the apprentice I see that a lot.

Where are you located? It's really hard to say how many stops you will have per day. That's something you should ask Operations Manager. You will most likely be on extra board doing trailers swaps some deliveries here and there plus occasionally they will have you do a road run. Each location is different, but you might have to work on the dock from time to time as a new guy though.
