Curious what some drivers are using for their ####pit? I'm interested in buying my own dash cam and a GPS system (also buying a Rand Atlas), and how a lot of you are choosing to mount them and where.

My neighbor is an o/o heavy haul driver and his GPS is on the back side of his visor which I think is pretty slick. I know a lot of states are opposed to window mounting and avoiding areas that the wipers touch. I've also heard of apps for your phone that is making the truckers life easy, and some people even using google maps just to monitor traffic. Pictures are welcomed.

I use MyOne20 for my GPS, it's mounted on a dash mount as it's illegal to put it on the windshield in Virginia and within the wiper swipe in all states per fmcsa. It staya to the left against the pillar, Have a nice diamond stitched leather steering wheel cover, red neon lights under the dash, cb standard center up top.

One truck I drove had some room on the console for a small GPS. Used some Velcro tape to stick it on.

No room on the truck so I just sat it on top of the climate controlls.

What regulation is this? Been reading lately of Indiana giving out violations for GPS mounted within wiper swipe?

    Rand McNally 730 GPS
9" Tablet for Google maps, CAT scale and Trucker Path apps
    Sirius satellite thingy.

The only thing stuck to my windshield is prepass transponder and company dashcam.

The GPS uses the included suction cup mount but with the strap for the CB holding it down. Same with Sirius with the suction mount wedged into the space below radio. The tablet mount is a generic clamp type. It came with one of those flexible arms but I don't use that. The mount rests on a lip on the dash with a magnetic phone mount on the back preventing it from falling forward.

I can take some pics but unless you have the same dash layout it may not be any use to you.

Id appreciate some pics, ive been having a hell of a time trying to mount some stuff. I literally just cant get creative enough. Itried the suction cups, but they constantly fall. Id like to see the mounts others have, maybe i can transform it to woek on my dash.

I hate having garbageup on the windshield, but its the only place that stuff doesnt fall.

    Ask and ye shall receive.

Sirius mount. It's just the suction cup wedged under the radio.

GPS suction mount. It won't hold on the cb platform so needs that strap to secure it. The strap was already there to hold CB radio.

The tablet mount is an Arkon brand. Think it was $30 from Wal-Mart online but I only use the clamp part. I crazy glued a washer on the back to work with a dash magnet
mount and Velcro on the bottom so it won't slide around.

I use a 12v/USB extension socket thing zip tied behind the QC to keep all the power cables out of the way.
