    Company driver for 2 years.
    Save everything.
    Then purchase/lease.

Can’t save anything as a company driver, $900 a week (take home) not good enough for the size of my family

    That is a smart move.

You don't need to do lease purchase to take home more dollars. In fact, you will likely be in a worse off financial situation all the while putting less dollars on the dinner table. While some succeed, it is largely not the norm. May look into food service delivery. Hard work and you will earn your money, but if higher take home is the goal it may be an option. If you put your location and ask @Chinatown he can probably point you in a better direction.

Food service is about the only thing I can think of where the money is consistantly good; well, that and tankers. I wouldn't do a lease purchase, but some people insist on doing one.
    Colonial Freight Systems
    Quality Carriers
    Quality Distribution
    Cardinal Logistics
    Dartco Inc.
    Greatwide
Some people do ok with the above companies.
Lots of drivers are making $70K+ with McLane Foodservice, but that's as a company driver, not a lease/purchase.
I'd still like to know why FFE (Frozen Food Express) didn't work out. No one else that I've recommended the company to, for their cdl school, has come back with anything negative.

I doubt you can take home that much by doing a lease/purchase. Drivers making the big bucks are doing foodservice, linehaul, hazmat tankers, and some teams outfits. Some teams with Old Dominion Freight Lines, Estes Express, R&L Carriers are making $90K for each driver.
Trimac Transportation you can make over $100K as a solo driver running OTR in their Elite Fleet.
Some US Express teams claim they're taking home over a thousand a week.
TWT Refrigerated Service teams split .60 cpm which is decent, above average pay for teams.
Make some calls and ask about pay; try these:
MC VanKampen Trucking in Grand Rapids.
    Green Transportation in Holland,MI
    Century Trucking in Detroit.
It's going to take some research to find the "take home" pay you want.

FFE is not bad company but only for single people who don’t need that much money. I’m think of lease cos I want the big bucks. I know couple of people work for the Russian out of Chicago they bring home Over $3000 a week (no lie) company like vs Carrier and DIJ Corp doing lease and they pay 90% of the gross but they require one year experience and I only have 8 month

    Chinatown Thanks this.
