Absolutely. I only got a day of driving in on the slick mountain road (4-5 trips/day, 40 km long, up and down all the way, a few hairpins, etc) before the job started their planned 10 days off before another 20 on. So I'm working on the truck in FSJ. We stay in Hudson's Hope, BC (~1 hour west) when on the job. The truck is double shifted so it runs 24 hours during that time.

Oil field stuff, not 100% sure yet but I've heard "produced water" mentioned. There are some 2924, 1230, 1268, 1267 (all flammable), and "TOXIC INHALATION HAZARD" placards sitting in the door pocket right now. Should be interesting.

I'm running for two O/O's under a bigger company. Both the O/O's own their own fluid trailers and the side dumps we are using on this rock hauling job are not theirs, but the big company's. They say they prefer hauling fluid but I guess they signed the contract on the rock hauling so they have to do it.

Sounds like corrosion inhibitors (2924), paraffin inhibitors and other scavenger chemicals, and possibly some frac or slickwater chemicals. That's all easy stuff to handle.

    1267 is crude or condensate
1230 is going to be methanol based

Of course, I could be wrong. Guess we'll see.
