So, came through GA and missed an open scale so I kept going. No one chased me down and others went by and some went in. Should I expect a ticket or something?
Anyone deal with this?

Did they have any cameras along the road?
-
Like tolls if you don't pay, the ticket goes to your company then your company charges you along with a warning.
-
No warning no anything....carry on with your day. Might not be so lucky next time and get chased down.

I missed one in OK,and got off the next exit and went back.

No ticket is coming. Sometimes it isn’t safe to stop or get over. Those lazy donut eating cops aren’t going to come chase you nor send you a ticket. I’ve done it 10099999987777 times.Badmon, Mac99, WildTiger1990 and 4 others Thank this.

Pretty sure there was a recent post here from a driver that got a ticket for missing an open GA scale. It was close to $500 bucks. One cop dropped his donut that day.

I’m not encouraging breaking the law. When I first started driving I didn’t know to stop at the weight stations unloaded and was scared just like she was. Sometimes they post to keep going if full. Sometimes drivers won’t allow you to merge over to make the weight scale. By all means protect your license with your life! This is how you feed your family.

I know some of the scales in Georgia have the signs saying to pull in or bypass, even if you don’t have the prepass unit.

It's a gamble. Sometimes you win and sometimes you lose. Today you won.
