So I'm pretty new to the forums, I've come here seeking advice many times, but never really posted anything.
I've been driving right at 4 years now, mostly company, but I have dipped my toes into ownership somewhat. I've learned a lot (though I always know I have more to learn) and made a few mistakes, which will hopefully keep me from making as many in the future.
Anywho, myself and a friend are looking to go out and buy a truck which we will then team drive as O/Os. I've done lots of looking, but I'm having trouble finding a company that suits our wants and needs. As far as what we pull, that doesn't really matter much, as long as it pays the bills. The biggest issue is wanting to at least get by the house for a night or two every week. It seems as though most places want teams to stay out 3+ weeks, which I am just totally opposed to, I've been there and don't want to go back. I've looked into the self-dispatch outfits, but none of them seem to work either for one reason or another.
I'm really wanting this to work out, so any advice or leads on companies would be greatly appreciated.
Best company to lease my truck to

I plan to actually go out and buy the truck myself, I'm just having trouble figuring out for whom I should work.
I've got plenty of savings, enough to cover a down payment, a couple months of expenses, and an emergency fund for fuel/repairs. I've also learned from a few mistakes, such as not having enough saved up, or trusting some unknown mechanic on the road. -
Where is your location?

Quality Carriers has a couple of terminals in Kentucky. Most tanker outfits are out & back.

Don't know if they have any team loads. Some tanker outfits do. Trimac Transportation does for sure, but don't know how their hometime works.
I ran a few with Tankstar from Nashville to Seattle; back & forth. I don't think they use 0/0's there now though. -
Hi there.. I'm new and had the same question as yours. Just checking if you narrowed down on who to lease your truck to?
Kind regards
