I was in an lP program that allowed you to book your own loads if you didn't like what dispatch found for you. Most brokers were easy to deal with, but because I was a new customer I had to prove myself, so I could only look at the heavy and somewhat cheap loads they had. But you begin to learn the lanes that paid well and which ones didn't, and most good paying lanes went East.
Shock Therapy and bzinger Thank this. -

Apology accepted, we're with a good company now, and I am sure more GO drivers will end up here if things go south over there.Shock Therapy and bzinger Thank this.

Yeah, before I applied at Morehouse, I looked at several lease programs to see what everyone was offering. By far the program offered at Mhouse is one of the best I've seen. What the driver pays per month at Mhouse, some places charge per week.
Now if lease drivers at Mhouse could negotiate and book their own loads, after training in that of course, man that would be awesome. Once you find the lanes that pay good, and the brokers are approved by the carrier, the sky is the limit.
There is a 90 day wait here, and as for me, it will be close to a year before I can look at seriously, but it looks to be a very good and doable program.carramrod32, bzinger and Vic Firth Thank this.
