    Hi Drivers,

Has anyone seen a downturn in freight since the election? I've been sitting since last Tuesday, probably won't get a check this week. I drive for a small company ( 30+ trucks) out of Lynchburg, VA and we had over 20 drivers sitting since a week ago Friday. Dispatchers are trying to load us in order of when we came in. I've been advised that if they can get us out of here with a load they can keep us out as long as we don't come back through... :biggrin_25518:

    Thats what I'm hearing.

I'm off to a meeting now....to see whether I still have a job today LMAO

Gun season opens next week.....so I suspect I'll get offered something that will interfere with that, and quit.

yeah im with a small company in chicago land we basicaly just run california and we lost a lot of our outbound freight due too price cutters. I ve been home since thursday, friday is usualy are best day for freight but they had nothing. at this rate I might as well collect unemployment and take the winter off yeah right.
It wasnt the election that had anything too do with this I think its just the economy in general, time for a new line of work if you ask me.
