Pay scale sounds better than alot of guys manage to get for total rate per mile.

It doesn't sound like a bad mileage rate to me. All we would pay is fuel, insurance, and our payment to him from that. Obvs taxes too.

Kids school was closed for the day, rained like a mother####er n the wind was going pretty good. Almost back to the yard now, left well before daylight so I didn't get a real good look see, just what the amber n red showed.

A job site just south of The Pentagon...

Sooooo, rolled in around 9am despite all the traffic coming down the mountain. Project supervisors and whatnot were cool as hell, I meet the supervisor overseeing the receiving products "son, we only take deliveries on Wednesday. I know Melton and shipper told you to be here today but it is what it is...we will unload you tomorrow morning"

Ight. It's literally Washington DC where do I go? Turns out they have a nifty drop yard a block away and now I'm parked here enjoying what D.C. has to offer... already walked the national mall and grabbed lunch at an Irish bar.

I'm cool with waiting on this one... only downside is if I knew this drop yard was here I could've taken a 34 if I got here yesterday...

That's the plan if I happen to find myself out of work up here. Either that or try my hand at hot shot with the old W900 when its back together and on the road.

Yeah I figured something was up when I crossed over the 71 Sunday morning... started getting really windy by the time I was in the hills on the 70. Worked out alright all things considered.

Pulled the tarps earlier so as long as these clear skies don't turn nasty I should be all set for tomorrow.
