3K a week is what I average. I talk about it more in the previous pages of this thread.

Not quite sure. Loaded a few trailers that went out there, but no complaints from the regional guys about that place.

I got there at 330pm for my 4pm appointment. They let me back in at 4pm and I was leaving in 2 hours and 40 minutes. I’m loading at Neenah, Wisconsin tomorrow for Williamson, New York. By the time I deliver NY Thursday I will have touched California and New York within a 6 day period.

Seems to me like the strict, over-the-road portion of the company is doing all right. The regional guys who want to stick with the SATX and Ft Worth's are having a mixed time. Some of the driver's are getting 3-5 loads a week to those two places, others complain about barely getting two.
I'd imagine with the winter coming along, there would be more long-haul work available. But some stay away from that for different reasons.

Currently sitting in a motel in Birmingham, Alabama while my truck is at Peterbilt. I have been on the road since October 16th (today is Nov 15th). I scheduled home time last Monday for Nov 16th. They had me on a load from Jacksonville, Florida to Little Rock, AR. About 20 miles outside of Birmingham my “engine oil pressure low seek service immediately” light came on and started chiming. The Cummins shutdown protection killed the motor several times while limping it to Peterbilt. Breakdown department wanted me to do it that way versus paying a tow truck, which was my preference too since I would have had to wait on a tow truck to get there.
Anyway, I’ve been here 2 days so far. Spent the first night in the truck since it wasn’t inside a shop bay yet. Took a cab to a motel yesterday. Before checking out this morning I touched base with Peterbilt and they said to probably go ahead and stay at the motel to be safe that it was still being worked on. Hopefully it’s done soon. I’m still waiting to get home and hoping I don’t miss Thanksgiving. I’ve worked every holiday this year except 4th of July.

Been having a few of our loaders jump on the Bynum bandwagon over here. Which means even if I want to stick to shuttling or go regional, they'll probably start dragging me back to the dreaded, loading schedule again. Seems to happen this time every year without fail.
Not trying to sound like Pessimistic Pamela, but these jokers heading over to Bynum are just heading into more of the same. Classic, Pied Piper of Hamlin story.
As for the loads over here, we've been currently at 24-27 for the whole day, cheese plant loads and outbounds. So unless we pick up more dairies and get more work dropped on us, the loading might not be as tedious as it was last year this time, or worse, when I was Ruan pulling 6-7 loads a night!!
These longer-than-normal nights are whooping it.

Do you happen to know how often we haul loads to Norman, OK?

Those pop up on the loading schedule every couple of days or so. Seems like maybe 4-8 of those a week. Ruan loads all the cheeseloads from that barn, while IRT loads all the Norman/Hiland loads from there. I went there a few times when I was with Ruan. Tight fit, but easy in and out as far as the unloading time went.

I live in Okc and with the holidays coming up, I’m going to stay under the Clovis umbrella until after the 1st of the year is why I was curious. I wouldn’t mind running to Norman full time if there’s enough of those loads to keep me busy with decent miles.

Day #3 in Birmingham: I called Peterbilt to check the status of my truck this morning so that I would know whether or not to re-rent my motel room. They said they cut open my oil filter last night and it’s full of metal. My engine is shot. IRT Breakdown Dept said the fuel pump went bad which in turn gernaded the engine with metal pieces.

I reminded IRT of my home time and how I’ve been out for a month. I told them if they could rent me a car or fly me to Okc I would drive my pickup to Clovis to get another truck. After a few phone calls back and forth they offered me a flight or a greyhound to Okc. I chose the flight and asked about all the property in my semi (flatscreen tv, cb, laptop, clothes, etc..). They told me to take what was important to me and that once I’m in a different truck they will re route me here to get everything. I’m currently at the Birmingham Airport waiting on my flight this evening.

Total expenses I’ve fronted so far are: $86 X 2 at the Comfort Suites Hotel, a $23 cab ride there from Peterbilt, a $40 cab ride from the motel back to Peterbilt then from there to the airport, and a $25 checked bag fee. Obviously I will be turning in all receipts. It’s Thursday and I haven’t worked since Monday afternoon.
