Update on millis training : Cartersville GA

Hello all just wanted to give an update. Today was the first day of the training here at Cartersville. Met steve the instructor that I've had a few people mention. Really nice guy. Did nothing but paperwork and took drug screen today which was the longest part of the day. Haha.. me and @FamilyDAWG actually ended up getting roomed together since one of the students will not be staying at the hotel. They kicked me out of my nice room by myself . Which it's fine. Great group of class mates here and seems like everyone wants to help each other out. I will try to update the thread as much as possible.

2nd day of training consisted of all classroom time the same as yesterday. We mostly talked about basic controls for the truck and about shifting, even watched a video on double clutching. We did get a logbook and from now on we do have to log anything that we do in class until the end of training which I think is a pretty cool thing. Tomorrow is when we get out on the range and start shifting and doing the famous "MILLIS 500"

 

Lol makes sense. Well I was the shorter white guy in the grey NIKE hoodie if you remember and @FamilyDAWG had a bright reflective jacket on.
