    Sitting on his butt watching all these other companies catch up and now we're in trouble so he gets a mega pay raise and fancier perks? I'm beginning to believe the company is more than fine and they're just blowing smoke up our rears.

    I see A lot of miserable Walmart drivers daily, that are just pissed, they will hardly speak to you, and won't even raise their hand to wave when you pass them, and have a constant scoul on their face.

    Got the entitlement mentality that they have it so bad, and Walmart owes them more and better. Act like it torture getting paid their measly $400 A day, place to shower, place to break, matching 401k, brand new equipment, 20-30 paid off days a year at full pay, etc,etc,etc..

    Say their gonna quit, cause they don't like the changes..News Flash.the job belongs to Walmart, they own the Company, it' not your job, it' theirs, and can run the Company any way they choose.

    You are also free to choose to take your labor somewhere else, to an employer that you think is better.

    Lifes' to short to hate where you work.

    Walmart may brilliantly be getting rid of those drivers who are ingrateful for their job, who have bad attitudes, just by making these changes.

    It's not so bad, it' not perfect, but show me a place that is. From experience, I can tell you something worse than a company that makes changes, is a company that never makes changes.

    Very well said. I agree with you 100%. I continue to wave at fellow drivers, even though they don't wave back, I made up my mind that I'm not going to be like them.

    Wait till you have been at a company for twenty of thirty years. Sacrificing your time sweat, allegiance, doing all you can to make the company profitable, running illegal to make on time delivery's, doing repairs yourself to save the otd level, working holidays and weekends, missing your kids ballgames to meet schedules because the company doesn't want to put on more trucks and drivers, remembering the days of live unloading(senior hands used to have to unload and then work in the warehouse) , doing your damndest to keep the P&O statements look good....then have the company say you are the reason the company is in trouble and shoots you the bird...then tell me about how we are being unreasonable!!!!

    The only changes i see being made is to the drivers programs & pay,
    None of the management are losing any pay ;
    Where is the money coming from to give
    Managers pay raises ,
    When they say amazon is killing them & they need to cut drivers pay.
    The new manager greg smith has the idea drivers are expendable & just an expense
    & by the way i always wave to my fellow walmart drivers:)

    Nice rant bud. Remember your disdain for the entitlement mentality of Walmart drivers when they start writing you up for insignificant things. You know with you making more money on old pay scale and all next year. As far as old Walmart drivers.. Its simple Bud... The original Walmart drivers paved the way for how good Walmart drivers have/had it today. Its because of that take no ########/paycuts/cutbacks etc.. That WMT Got as good as it did. Imagine if all the old drivers had your mentality of taking what's given to them.. It would have went to crap alot sooner. Its about pushing back , even if its just verbal and not actual Striking.. Better than just taking it laying down. Its a fact that once a Corporation takes away something or cuts something & You as an employee go along with it... They'll eventually make more cuts since they know they'll be no pushback.

    On another note . My a buddy of mine said this morning out in the New Braunfels parking lot.. There was a Corporate guy from Bentonville asking Random drivers their thoughts on new Changes. Supposedly "confidential " .. According to my friend said the guy had his notepad and my friend told him he didn't care for any of the changes and he was waiting to see how he would be affected come March. Not sure if this is going on at any other DC's. Wonder why they're conducting these surveys now.
