Any info on this small company? I know its a family run company. Am looking to lease one of my 9 car high rail to them. Am supposed to go talk to them next week. Currently am running my own authority but am struggling to find good drivers who want to stay on the road. Seems like drivers want good money and to stay local. Any info is appreciated.

I can't help you, but I can't blame drivers for wanting good money and be home. That is my dream.

I know Jack Key personally, in fact I bought my current rig from him. His health is in decline and is rarely if any involved in the daily operations anymore. He wanted me to haul for them for the longest, but I was set in my way of working for myself. That aside, I have nothing but the highest regards for Jack. I don't know much more about their current operations any longer. I can only say this, once the main guy steps away things usually change. I wish I could tell you more, but I wish you the best!

I live in Dallas and was thinking about going over there to speak with Dan. How good is the money over there. I've been at carhauling for about 9 years

I know this thread is 6 months old. But are these guys still running the extended high mount trailers? Remember seeing some Wally Mo trailers that had a 5' or 6' additional section in the middle.

Hi-mounts? I've never seen a hi-mount trailer in Jack Key's fleet, but it's been a while since I've been over there, so maybe they do. I'll tell you this though. In Texas, and Texas ONLY, a 59' trailer is allowed. Jack as at least one stinger that pulls a 59' custom stretched trailer. He runs ONLY Texas and if you see it, it is an OMG moment to be sure. It's really REALLY long.
