Yeah usa don't have you do no fittness test but they do judge you weight versus height. And they're pretty strict on the whole bloodpressure thing.
-
I don't understand that. Just because someone is heavy don't mean they have high blood pressure. I am 5'11" and run about 375 and my bp is usually around 124/74.
-
Only 1 warning? What about the other 100?
-
so that means i can get a job in like 2 seconds cuz i weight 150lbs??? cant that be considered some sort of descrimination
-
possibly!
seems like some Co's are tightening their requirements (maybe a GOOD thing) with the economy the way it is.
-
weight should have nothing to do with it, im 6'3 and close to 300 and i can drive fine
i guess the question is pat how tall is he
heck in school in the class before mine there was a guy who was so big he couldnt stick out his head when doing alley docking and he passed -
don't get me wrong......
USA has PLENTY of drivers over 300 but i guess this is a way of "culling the herd" he is like 6-3 or so i guess -
well they may be setting up themselves for a lawsuit. thats touching a subject that you shouldnt want to touch. Seriously thats like telling someone well your qualified but i cant hire you because your white. In the politcally correct era thats a bad idea what they are doing. Im sure there are some lawyers out there that would love to get a hold of this one.
If a driver can perform the essential functions of the job then why should his weight disqualify him? -
only thing i caould say maybe is blood pressure...........
