Hi drivers.
I have been driving for ABF Freight and I don't like it.
Schneider LTL has some new opportunities in my area and I was just wondering if anybody might know anything about this side of Schneider?
Thanks!
Anybody Work for Schneider LTL?

I passed a single-axle Schneider sleeper pulling a set of YRC pups last night. Later, a CR England truck pulling an old Roadway long box. I definitely wouldn't want to be one of those guys pulling into union terminals every night while their employees are under 15% paycuts and reduced pension contributions.
What don't you like about ABF? Are you a city or road driver? Just curious.Mike2633 Thanks this. -
I'm a city driver for ABF.
And I am on 'the list', not a casual driver.
While we do have a pretty decent pension, the pay ($24.00 per hour) is not enough income, in my opinion, to make the job worth the effort, and that even includes all the many hours of overtime.Mike2633 and Bob Dobalina Thank this. -
I used to see SNI daycabs pulling pups. Not so much anymore though...

Since when did Schneider driver's start making more money then freight driver's???
rodknocker, Mike2633, road_runner and 1 other person Thank this. -
I guarantee they don't.rodknocker, Mike2633, road_runner and 2 others Thank this.

Why don't you switch to linehaul for better pay?Mike2633 and Bob Dobalina Thank this.
-
Could be maybe that isn't necessarily better.rodknocker Thanks this.
-
No? From what I've read ABF road drivers certainly make more than city, unless I'm mistaken???.. I know when I worked for Conway that's surely how it was there...Mike2633 Thanks this.

I do know our city guys do better than most of the linehaul drivers.HalpinUout Thanks this.
