Must be the same as California gravel trucks. Not all of them of course, but enough of them to constitute a real problem.
Junk equipment, drivers who don't speak or understand basic English, owners who cut the rates down to just above break even, and...most importantly...the greedy rock companies who hire these guys in the first place.
Cheaper isn't always better.

A forum dedicated to thieving CANADIAN trucking companies/individuals would be helpful. Its tough to gauge companies from Glassdoor and Indeed reviews because they really have so few reviews. One Mega only had a dozen reviews. Many drivers I know do not use computers at all and its not just a age thing....
