Here we go with another mass shooting

I hope that the number is off, from their YouTube files it is a small , small church.

 

This is horrible.You just never know and a church of all places my thoughts and prayers are with everyone in that community.

 

If god existed He would prevent mass shootings in churches. There are more guns in America now than ever before.

 

Part of the problem is in many states, churches are deemed to be "safe work environments" for criminals because the law abiding are prohibited from being armed. A few states allow carry in churches "with permission", but for the most part churches are soft targets (much like schools) because the criminals can be 99.999% sure they'll have the only guns on the premesis.

 

That's a ######## thing to say and you know it. The Bible is full of stories about bad things happening His followers, and nobody of true faith believes that they'll be free from suffering while here on earth just because they believe in Him. Sin exists in this world, and the faithful are not immune to sin or protected from the sins of others...never have been.

 

Then maybe they might be better off shopping around for a different god that actually cares enough about His followers to protect them. I worship the FSM and this far He has protected me and mine from crazies with guns.
