I spend half my day sitting up. The other half leaned on the steering wheel. I rotate positions. There's no way I'm sitting in one position all day. My wallet stays in the left rear pocket.

Man, I got a pair of red wings last year because my old job paid for them and they gave me a discount. They already got the steel toe showing after just 10 months. I don’t even know how they started to form. Oh well they were free.

I’m getting Chippewa again after I start getting water in these.

See this is what worries me as I have scoliosis and 3 pinched nerve at the age of 29 (diagnosed approx at age of 18) there are times a nerve moves the wrong way in my back and I get pain so excruciating I hit the ground.

P.s. I CAN overcome the pain if need be so it is not going to cause me to be in an accident it just easier to succumb to it and ralax all the muscles in my back then to fight it off

My husband has scoliosis too and was experiencing back pain from driving for 10 hours. I got him a seat cushion from Amazon that has the hole where your tailbone sits. It takes a lot of pressure off and he doesn't have as much pain now.

i do not have steel or composite toed boots, and i still kick my tires each pre and post trip. they do have cracks that are at the flex points when i walk, but they do not leak. i use the red wings waterproofing/conditioner as well. as long as they do not crack all the way through to the inside, i will continue to get them resoled. i may "retire" then to the garden some day, most likely when i retire.

Sounds like sciatic nerve pain (sciatica). Had it off and on from time to time over the years. Best thing for it is ice, stretching, and Aleve/Advil
