I'm not sure if it was Eric or one of his employees that called me back from Palomar. Kind of difficult to pay attention when I'm working. He basically said they are not manufacturing these things anymore until they find another person to make them.

Well I didn't buy one. And, until right now, didn't know I needed one!

God you guys act they made 5 of them and never will make any more.

I just checked, I can get 20 of them from my wholesale guy, he has them in stock and he can get more.

    Check Amazon and even eBay.

Kind of hard to tell the difference between the Palomar sl41 and the Heil PR 781. Considering I'm always mobile I'd always choose the noise cancelling cheaper route especially if it sounds the same.

So you guys go through mics every month?

It isn't a big deal, relax guys, they will go back into production.

It's not a big deal to me, I just don't buy stuff very often. So I'm glad I got mine when I did because I do like the microphone. Because normally when stuff like this happens I want it once there's none left and have to wait a long time to get one.

Just because "right now" there's plenty in stock, doesn't mean a month from now there will still be a bunch in stock...When people find out somethings not being made anymore, some will buy all they can get their hands on and jack up the price and re-sell them on ebay for double what they payed...Look at the RF Limited 2018 Xtreme Mic's that are no longer being made...When still in production the things were around $60 New...Now a New one will cost you over $100...Plus, there's no guaranty that Eric will find a new manufacture and keep the SL-41 in production.

    on ebay Extreme 2018 $110.00+ s&h
