Some very good points. Hopefully they'll see the forest through the trees before it's too late. Change is necessary, but is the Fleet REALLY THAT much of a problem? We'll see what happens. I'll stay until the Walmart Private Fleet becomes Walmart Trucking Co. There is a BIG difference between a truck driver and a Walmart driver...but that gap, unfortunately, appears to be narrowing.

Seems like you're wavering just a little bit in your Resolve to Adapt to Walmarts changes. Are you starting to see the bad changes a few of us lone wolves have pointed out. You can tell us if the Kool-Aid isn't that good anymore.

Nope...I'm still very happy, just saying I hope it doesn't get bad. Change is necessary, I'm just hoping they make the right changes. Sure don't want to end up like K-Mart, but also don't want to end up like Swift.

Lol. Its crazy you even bring up Swift. 2 years ago, people would've scoffed at the mention of Swift intertwined with Walmart. But now, its a toss up. Anything is possible.

Lol. A driver was happy getting other members ruffled up. Then when they didn't like what was being given back to them , they decided to shut it down . Don't throw rocks if you live in a glass house.

Before this thread gets locked. It was a pleasure to talk to some of yall. And I hope those that are staying well. And those that are leaving well also.

I'm not sure how David Glass and others are keepers of the culture if things are going the way that the are. But the U.S. economy isn't well off. And groceries are the only thing that have kept Walmart afloat for years now.

What ever decisions Cory, Greg, Tracy, and Jeff (and who ever is in the east)come up with. Just remember it's to protect Walmart. And Walmart Transportation is a big liability to Walmart.

WMT was an ok job, but it never was the best. No trucking company is, they all have there liars and underhanded stuff going on. It's just sad to see these sought after companies go downhill. No matter if it's pay, b/s policies, or lower hiring criteria.

I've watched so many places turn from gravy trains, to b/s and pains since 2005. But that wreck in NJ really put Walmart in the spotlight. And the media can't seem to stop reporting crazy Walmart stuff. No matter if it's a wally trailer being pulled by another carrier. Or A trailer load of Latin ppl being dropped of in a wally parking lot.

So chive on and plz don't blow Roxy's phone up after Feb.

Very well said brother . You sound like you put in your 2 weeks notice at Walmart though? It was nice getting to know MOST of the guys on these threads as well.

Not sure if that's a two weeks but knowing where you've worked, you're a lot better than a company that'll take any ol' Werner coolie carrier jumper.
