A lot of WM drivers no longer do. All of my trash bags in the truck were from other retailers. I'd use WM only for their bathrooms when I dropped my trailer and would usually have to walk to the back of the store because there'd always be a junkie or two camping out in the front restrooms.
What a great image this lowlife company makes sure to promote to those of us with money. -
I'm not arguing the facts of the working conditions in China, you are correct, but it was posted in the wrong context, as if Walmart was implicit.
-
Walmart #### well encourages it because you know they wouldn't put up with the company raising the price of the product just a bit so the factory can pay the workers a livable wage in their country.
Walmart only shows heart toward other humans when it promotes their brand and that's it.Puppuller 57 and Triumph 1 Thank this. -
Right , it was stated in the story as s walmart warehouse ,
That was the term the repoter used , which i agree with you shouldnt have been used -
Whats the deal with the PA WM DC's always hiring?? Especially Tobyhanna. Any Wm Drivers that may have driven out of those areas, I'd appreciate your take on why guys don't stick around in PA .

They were saying the management at that place is some of the worst in the country.
ChevelleRednReady Thanks this. -
Something definitely must stink for them to always be posting job openings . Glad I'm not Driving out of those DC's .

Tobyhanna and Pottsville have always traditionally had a high turnover because most people use them to get in the door before their year and transfer out. I stayed for 3.5 years before transferring which I did for three reasons...closer to home, mandatory workweek extensions even for PROGRAM drivers, and it had become a very uncomfortable place to work. Mainly what finally pushed me over the fence was forcing program drivers to switch trucks on their last scheduled day just to run a few hours the next day, usually to be told there's nothing to do and to go home. That rubbed me the wrong way, and while certainly not any reason to quit, it gave me the push I needed to make the move. Very happy I did.foggy, BackIsSore and ChevelleRednReady Thank this.

Sounds alot like "Madisonville"
New Braunfels, Tx 6016 . They run that place like Pelican Bay prison, minus the shoe program.
