So if you refuse an unlawful order (saliva tests are not yet legal in Michigan, therefore an order to submit to an illegal test is NOT a "lawful" order) you will be charged with a civil infraction?
Sounds to me like some lawyers are going to get rich...
Reminds me of the article not long ago about the guy arrested for meth because (believe it or not) the cop couldn't tell the difference between meth and Krispy Kreme glaze...and the roadside "test" kicked out a positive. -
People are missing the bigger picture because they are fixated on the cop/doughnut angle. The two test came back positive for meth because Krispy Kream puts meth in their doughnut glaze. Don't tell anyone.

I'm not saying your wrong because I am bad hooked on em. I can not pass the case without buying a couple. But I am curious why immediately after I need a nap, possibly a full sleep before continuing. Delayed reaction? Poor quality?

Feedman, miss elvee and dngrous_dime Thank this. -
Hmm, and here I thought they were laced with crack.

I'll be curious to know if truck drivers are targeted the most simply because they are truck drivers.

"If a driver is pulled over and is asked to submit to a drug test but refuses, the state trooper will take the refusal to comply as a civil infraction."
"A driver must be suspected of impaired driving in order to lawfully be subject to an oral fluid test. Drivers will not be subject to saliva tests at sobriety checkpoints or roadblocks because saliva tests are not yet legal Michigan."
Refusal is a CIVIL infraction, not a criminal infraction, and they intend to conduct an activity that has no legal merit. What a waste! Tell them to pound sand if you get pulled over. The lawyers are going to have a field day this BS! -
Reminds me of the early 90s when Utah and Nebraska had campers at the scales doing random urine tests ...it didn't last long .
I got randomed in Utah and I'm sure I don't have to describe what that camper bathroom looked like lol.
