A Cascadia we just picked up has it's speedo needle all the way at the bottom, i.e. less than zero. Our other Cascadia's all have the needel pointing right where the zero would be - where the black ends and the white starts. Since it starts at 5 less than 0 it always reads 5 less than actual speed.
Is there a way to "move" the dial permanently, like on a clock?
Cascadia speedo shows less than 0

No there isn't. Your speedo needs to be replaced.

I replaced the instrument cluster. Now the odo LCD shows correct mileage when sitting but as soon as brake is release it goes to 0, like of though a new truck. Is this an anti-tamper featureor can I fix this?

I had a fuel gauge on my WesternStar (same gauge as in my Cascadia), it did that and progressively got worse.
So yes I think you need a new gauge also. They are a J1939 data driven gauge. -
If you hit the brake and drop to 0, then go under the truck, drop the drive shaft, and tighten that pinion nut with a 3/4 impact on the output shaft. It is loose.
When it is loose, you get the abnormalality like that. Also, if you have DDDL, JPro, and/or Toolbox, look at the wheel speed sensor speeds and make sure they are matching to the speedometer. If you have one drop off, it can cause the J1939 to send a abnormal priority signal and cause the speedometer to drop to 0, then go back up. I see that happen a lot.uncleal13 Thanks this. -
Unfortunately there's no way to adjust the and on the dial. I had to replace the instrument cluster.
