Yeah me too. My endocrinologist has to fill out those checklists every three months and I bring her my driving logs. It's a ridiculous system--they expect my endo to check my BG logs against my driving logs for the whole 90 days to make sure I kept my blood sugar between 100-400 while driving. What doctor has time for that? And 100-400 isn't a good range either. If my blood sugar is 95 (an excellent blood sugar) I have to shut down for 30 minutes and eat something because it's out of range.

I'm grateful that I can get into this profession with diabetes, so I just shut up and deal with it, but anyone who has the exemption knows it's a royal PITA. Oh well (rant over).

if you are not insulin dependent no wavier is needed, if you are there are new drugs that can be used and are just as effective, again no wavier needed.

I know. I was saying I am trying to avoid it by working on my diet.
