Since when do they do inspections on the thruway? I never saw them between Albany-Buffalo, always on the southern tier or going north on 87

They love the cash boxes. And the Op is cherry. Just keep the tow receipt with your logs. Both in the truck then later at the office in case of an audit. The tow receipt show proof you didn’t drive the truck.

Can you even get towed without violating the oos? I thought when one is oos one cannot move for any reason.

You can not drive the truck if it is a log violation, you can have someone drive it for you or towed.

I was explained by the Nebraska DOT when I got busted for HOS and sentenced to 8 hours in the sleeper (before 2004) that It is a felony to move a truck that is OOS and my license would be automatically suspended and truck impounded. I think, he saw I thought about getting out of there as soon as he would close the scale. What happened after, I am not gonna tell anyone.

200 bucks???????? Gos dam that wouldn't even cover the fuel bill leaving the house to get to your trailer, etc, etc,etc. at the end of the day, with the left over money if any, you could get a pack of smokes
