    Nashville, TN at TA.

Well, I picked up the last load a bit late.
A mac 22 was sent to explain things, and I had set my delivery time for today at 1730. The place is FCFS from 0800-1600, but I guess they cleared things on that end.

My time estimate for delivery was based on the fuel route, which had me avoiding tolls, and it was nearly an hour longer and a few more miles.
So I ignored the fuel route altogether and took I-90 out of NY and then down to here.
I delivered at 1530, just inside the original requirements. The customer was happy.

My next load picks up in Lebanon and delivers on Monday at 1630, a live unload at PetSmart in IL.
Enough time for a 34, and I wonder if I was sent that as payback for the extra $ I cost them in tolls, not to mention turning down that Walmart gig.

But that's OK. It puts me more where I want to be.

    Currently unemployed (my choice).
6 months driving for a Denver regional when I live near Phoenix was enough for me. I made good money, stuck around long enough to collect the 6 month installment of my hiring bonus. Got sick of forced dispatch and a lazy shop.
Gonna wait til after the new year before I look for something else.

FerrissWheel, GoBlue487 and Moosetek13 Thank this.

If you haven't done it already, consider bumpng your maintenance account to at least .15 cents.

We do still use Pilot and Flying J sometimes, but it is rare.
One perk is 10X points, so if I am going to an area that is shy on Love's/Petro/TA I may skip a scheduled fuel stop if I can get there.

Stopped using Pilot and Flying J due to the Moyes/Haslam pissing match in favor of the more expensive Loves and TA/Petro. One of the many reasons Swift couldn't turn a better profit now corrected by better management.
