I'm speaking in general... With great pay, vacation, sick days, pension, insurance as a company driver.. but you think being O/O can stack up? I don't know man...

Find me a company job that pays 3,500 a week after expenses but before taxes.

 

Ok subtract taxes, insurance, and retirement... $3500 isn't every week either a major repair and you can kiss all profit goodbye

 

I said AFTER expense BEFORE taxes. If someone isn't hit those numbers it's their own fault. Not including intermodal here btw.

If you're making that after expenses, then your at the right outfit. Guys at my place could only dream of hitting that. Only way we could possibly do that is to do the long runs 5-600 miles a day which is impossible in this world. How many miles?
