    New to this. I hope im doing this right. Planing on buying a truck this week. I got hired with Landstar, but i feel like theres other company's out there that i can make more money neting min 3k wk. Possibly Amazon, or Tankers, ect. Any ideas of any other company better than Landstar???

    Not sure about Amazon as to what I heard you must be planning on buying 3 trucks, landstar is not bad, but you will need a find some of there good Agent and you should do well, Mercer is also not bad, I am with great wide and I am not happy with them at the moment, because they have New owners, and there fingers is longer than mine, so long that they are taking a cut of our ditention pay 25%

    I was working for kllm as a lease trainer neting 3k. I was just tired of training n having to deal with dispatchers

    Stay away from Amazon
    Just dig around the forum there's lots of general b.s about dealing with them from multiple users here

    I don't get why so many people love landstar, what is their take 27% or so? Seems ridiculous to me..
