    If an OO isn't grossing 1k (average) a day than he's a horrible business owner. You're turning this into something it's not. My point is as stated, outside of intermodal the sky is the limit as to what a smart business owner can accomplish.

    i dont make 3500 after fuel. if i work 6-7 days i can im sure. but 1k a day no i dont. i just wish i bought my truck cash. something like 20k n done.

    How's it been with the Holiday season? CN Harvey been packed? I can't say I miss that place lol.

    I would miss the freedom and choice of being an O/O. I've had good LTL jobs, you really gotta hump day in, day out. Without seniority, it's a crappy job.

    @JimmyWells you're correct, outside of Intermodel, there's more money, but you will also sacrifice being home every night, which is very important to some guys.

    Totally agree BUT if one lives in the right area they can only run a 300 mile radius and do much better than getting screwed with intermodal.

    A little, but not too bad, the Holiday rush got a little crazy about a month ago.....3+ hours at CN, Elwood and Landers became common....
