I currently drive for Arrow and I am very happy here. I basically run all the miles I want and on average I get about 3K a week. Occassionaly I will have a 2400 week but I also get 3400 weeks so it averages out. If you are interested give me a shout. As I said in all my posts, your just a number to them but if you want miles and to run Arrow will run you. I run 100% legal for that average as well, sleep 8 hours every day, and have a day off here and there on the road. Arrow does pay detention, and you get $50 a day for layovers and breakdown. If your at a terminal for PM or breakdown you stay in a 1 bedroom HoJo's extended stay with full kitchen as well. I highly recommend Arrow! Oh, and tarp pay is $30 and it takes about 2 hours to tarp and an hour to untarp, so thats $10 an hour on average for tarping. It sucks in winter and wind but other than that its tolerable. Look for 2,800 average linehaul and 1,800 average regional over the winter months. 3,000 + linehaul and 2,000 regional the rest of the year.

well i am glad you are happy at arrow, i have been looking for a good company to sign on with and was thinking tmc, i was leaning towards maverick but dont know they have alot of bad posts and i hear miles are way down. Arrow takes a beating on this forum too but didnt know the miles were that good. I may have to look into them too. Thanks for the info any more would be great.:biggrin_2554:

If you want to learn flatbedding - Maverick would be a better choice than some of the others.

Big thing is to keep flexible - and keep an open mind.

You all have no idea how this industry was "my" salvation - and with a little effort it can change your life too.

keep positive - and keep your chin up.

    hehhehe

    I get asked a LOT...

all I can tell you is that while we are in the midst of a crappy economy - and while Yellow and Roadway are in the midst of a full on merger - we will not be hiring anyone for MONTHS...

2 years ago I could have got you on pretty quick - but not right now
