Anyone have any information on Black Horse Carriers? Was offered a position out of Chattanooga TN home daily to deliver auto parts. Gaurenteed $1100 and good insurance. Well, that's what they are telling me. Anyone know anything about them? Thanks

I know this thread is nearly 2 years old, but I've been at Black Horse for just over a year. I run out of Plainfield, IN. We have a 1200/wk guarantee. Most drivers work around 10-11 hours a night, Monday night, through Friday night. Communication is nearly non existent. I've never had an accident, or a ticket, and for some reason, I've never seen a dime of the quarterly safety bonuses. Those are supposed to be 200 dollars per quarter, but I haven't found anyone who made more than 60. The work is easy, and the trucks are nice.

That being said, I'll be leaving in a couple of weeks to go to Walmart, but if you don't mind unloading your trailer, Black Horse is a decent place to work. Also, If you become a Black Horse driver in the Automotive division, try to get a Ford route. Those leave earlier than the Shared. Shared routes are basically routes that do more than just Ford. They go to Mazda, BMW, Nissan, Mercedes, Etc. Linehauls for Shared are often late, and since we don't get paid by the hour, it kinda sucks to stand around waiting. It usually isn't an issue, but it happens from time to time.

Yep. It's all liftgate here. There is another division that delivers dairy to Kroger. They don't use liftgates, but all of our trailers in Plainfield are.

    D.Tibbitt Thanks this.
