    Tesla will reveal its semi this Thursday, and Musk promises to 'blow your mind' with it

    Tesla is expected to pull back the curtain on its long-awaited semi truck on Thursday, CEO Elon Musk said, as he fanned expectations for the vehicle after production problems delayed its slated release.

    On Sunday, Musk tweeted that the official unveiling would take place on Thursday evening, promising it would "blow your mind clear out of your skull."

    Tesla will reveal its semi this Thursday, and Musk promises to 'blow your mind' with it

    After the Las Vegas driverless shuttle bus disaster I thought the hype was over. Right? No more technology, no more robots, no pie in the sky. No Elon Musk.

    Watch. Notice there will never be a display of the vehicle operating in reverse and hitting a dock or settling into a staging area. What good is an "autonomous truck" that can't back up? Frankly I'm getting tired of these feeble attempts to put fear into a tiny segment of the population that they are doomed because of their "forward thinking" investors have doomed them to "ultimate joblessness".

    I beginning to think we should all bomb Mr. Musk's and other tech giant's social media accounts with comment's.

    I have something to say to Elon myself. The light at the end of the tunnel is a dead end

    If they would take that energy and direct it to creating robotic truck unloaders, product sorters, product inventory managers and receiving clerks, think how many fewer trucks we we would need by greatly reducing time lost sitting in docks and burning up clocks.

    Elon Musk: ‘Robots will be able to do everything better than us’

    Elon Musk is certain that robots will be able to do your job better than you.

    And even the billionaire CEO of Teslaand SpaceX is not sure what to do about that.

    "There certainly will be job disruption. Because what's going to happen is robots will be able to do everything better than us. ... I mean all of us," says Musk, speaking to the National Governors Association on Saturday.

    "Yeah, I am not sure exactly what to do about this. This is really the scariest problem to me, I will tell you."

    Transportation operators will be the first to lose their jobs, says Musk. The U.S. Department of Transportation says one in seven jobs in the U.S. is transportation-related.

    But no job is safe, he says. "Transport will be one of the first to go fully autonomous. But when I say everything — the robots will be able to do everything, bar nothing."

    It would seem this "Elon Musk" thing is something other than human. So, I find it interesting that even advanced machines of tomorrow will have an unquenchable thirst for vast amounts of money.
