Got to shipper just in time for the forklift operator to take his 30min break. That was 45min ago.

We're watching Gabriel Iglesias on YouTube and laughing our yassessoff.

Gonna have to go inside in a few and shake some trees.

The adventure continues with week two

 

He's improved 100% highway driving, progressing well with city driving. Backing fundamentals portion begins today.

 

Many thanks! I had a system at Celadon and left when they wouldn't let me use it any more.

This one is struggling. He's got a good head on his shoulders and more common sense than I dreamed of at his age, but he's having difficulty. I'm considering handing him off to someone with a different teaching style...I'll make up my mind at the end of his second week. It's not that he can't do it--it's just taking longer than it should in my opinion. That could mean that I'm the holdup in my teaching methods. I'd really hate for the company to lose a good potential driver because of my communication style.

I have kind of a soft touch most times.
