We installed one in our truck. There is no place we can find to enter the commodity. The time is 10 minutes off. And it has the wrong miles on it. Anyone know anything about them. Thank you.

We are testing a device in one truck right now. I cant answer your question about the commodity but I have realized that the log compliance print is not accurate. It will log the truck in near by towns such as stopping for fuel and customer pick ups. If we get audited and the DOT pull fuel tickets which have a city on it and the log does not show him being in that town, I'm not sure that will make us compliant with the rules. This opens up a window of issues. They could think we are unhooking the device or mileage reported surly has to be incorrect. Also your not suppose to be able to edit the drive time. I thought i would just test it and see. It did allow me to delete some of the drive time which is a big no no. I have emailed technical support. No response yet.

    Transflo/Pegasus T7 eld Review................buyer beware.........
it took nearly 3 weeks to get right 6 pin plug
day 1 i entered shiping info hit save and it crashed, support couldn't help in Omaha Ne.
i reset everything at end of shift, violations galore couldn't log wife into drive.
then it wants you to verify everything.

day 2 both team members logged into drive mode, how do you explain that to dot audit
transflo wipes ot wife's log, to correct glitch, wife off duty, sleeper berth and logged 9k miles
only 1 truck and trailer entered, poor software, keeps asking if i'm driving the only equipment entered

day 3 dvir save mode truck and trailer 15 and 20 min and never saved anything
logged stops and fuel 20-30 miles away in another county
flips to drive while parked then to on duty not driving without knowing
doesn't do yard moves it logs as driving, i had it set for yard moves .(1 mile 18 seconds)
wake up phone to start trip and its in loading mode for 20 min
only ifta miles no fuel..... that's $7.00 extra
have to keep phone plugged in, it drains phone fast.
uploaded app 64mb deleted 246mb way to much data in 3 days.
i can do my log book and the wife's in a fraction of the time it takes to work transflo/pegasus eld t7
support tells me after a dozen calls, "we know we have glitches, and we have till Dec.18.2017 to get them fixed". wwwwwhat
it needs a lot of work and so does there software, it looks for internet, when not there, when up north gps signal poor, accurate to 60 meters, 15 meters, 2 meters, also depends on weather. that's a move on drive time parked.
called in and canceled service, no credit or returns.

Seems like each ELD is different, so it takes some gettin used to. I am familiar with the Transflo ELD. Works good for me. Took some time to read through the materials stuff first, and that made a difference. For commodity, I pressed “Dashboard” then hit “Assets” and “Shipments” and found it all there. Need to update for each load/day. They post the training videos in the app, found em here too:

After a few upgrades, I’m likin even more. I can tell which product are being improved and which ones are not. I don’t like any ELD much, but this one has some features others don’t.

    Makeajump Thanks this.

Glad to hear it might not be such a bad choice after all. I have one, still in the box. I've been going back and forth about whether I should go ahead and activate it or try to find something else. Thanks for the review!

I am currently going to new carrier and one of the choices for an ELD is the Transflo. So one of my considerations is how much data does it use? I am currently on a 5GB plan.
