As nice as this sounds it doesn't sound too likely to me. To make $50,000 a year running only 26 weeks a year at $0.45 a mile means you would have to average over 4200 miles every week you drive. If you believe that is a reasonable expectation I have a bridge to sell you.

Either there are some missing pieces here or they are just flat-out full of crap.

$65k, maybe that's what you and the other make when combined.

It doesn't add up. No way I would commit to a year without better information.

30 CPM ? My God,I would simply hang up on them.I wouldn't count on bonuses.Don't take anything under 45 CPM even if you new.

Your math is probably correct. You're going to find out recruiters will say anything the applicants wanna hear if that's what it takes to get them hired.Recruiters don't know anymore then you do.

One other big unknown is; Why hasn't anybody put me in touch with the other team member? Or at least gotten them to contact me? Nobody.... my teacher, or the recruiter has offered to let me talk to that person. I know they both know who the person is.

You will only learn that info after you graduate School, sign away your soul on the dotted line and after they sink their fangs into you sucking the very life out of you will you learn that your Co driver partner is a 400lb individual who is allergic to bathing and has an anal leakage problem, also has anxiety issues and needs the companionship of his 6 cats with him at all times.

Sign their contract if they put in a clause that they guarantee you at least 60k a year.

I haven't taken the time to analyze this job, but most, almost all piece work pay jobs don't add up to their advertised yearly rate.

These companies are looking for a driver to dumb to add up the pay, yet smart enough to run the truck.

Isn’t that the truth. If there were any jobs paying 60-65K for only working 26 weeks a year they wouldn’t be advertising. The wait list would be a mile long.
