Our rates are pretty solid the owner of the company is pretty selective with what he books.

Typically we wait until late in the day when the brokers need something covered bad then it’s “here is our rate”...More times than not we make out really well..

All our trucks will be elog exempt the ones that aren’t are currently for sale.

You can get a pay raise by picking better employers, keeping record clean than waiting for a promise delivered to everyone.

Pretty simple. Let's say you book a load for $1000 on 500 miles. Or you book a 300 miles load for $900. You can even afford to pay your driver $1 per mile.
My guy who runs for me, sometimes only does 200 miles per day and still gets his daily $300

Yes solo,I will never do teams. The other question I don't know the answer to but 60 CPM is what Chicagoland 1099s advertise now. It's only reefer runs so I guess there will be some sitting but they pay detention after 2 h.

To be honest I was told it's long runs meaning at least 600 miles. There is shortage of workers of any kind not to mention drivers not to mention decent drivers not to mention decent drivers who don't care whether or not they be home for weekend.

Also it's not "rate for solo drivers" it's rate for this particular driver-)

Well, let us know how it works out after New Year's. For the holidays yes, I can see someone paying that, but not after.
Are they gonna be putting you in pre ELD truck?

99% of those 10-99 companies are complete trash. The .65 I'm sure comes with a ton of baggage and games that you gotta play with them...

What's your understanding of "complete trash"?
