Anybody get this petition?

I don’t know why but the whole thing looks, sounds and smells worse than fishy.

 

They claim 579000 accounts. Minimum of $20 each month. So what $11.5 million a month in revenue? $140 million a year. I wonder why we have to have these things again? This is just one company out of at lest 50.

 

The splits of 2/8 3/7 4/6/ 5/5.... were in place right after they changed the rules in 2004, they messed with them after...some bold head professors with thick glasses had to " improve it"...
I did not see anything wrong with the simple and straightforward rules prior to 2004 idiotic reform. driving 10, sleeping 8 with different splits possible and no more than 15 hours of work per 24 hour period, 70 hours max per 8 days. The only thing missing in that set up was 34 hour reset.

 

I can't believe that drivers who waste half of their day or more sitting at a dock not getting paid think it's their problem and all they need is more time . I think the shippers and receivers are seeing a problem coming and they want to have a excuse so they will not have to change.

I got it in an email. I basically told them to go pound sand. How dang ridiculous. KeepTruckin doesn't have a clue. Why not work smarter (get paid for your time) than work harder (more hours w/o pay).

 

It's pretty simple why they started this at this time. Simply to divert attention from the ELD issue. They Really want it to go into affect on December 18th, so they are trying to divert attention to this petition.
