Did anybody else notice this? After the latest update, Truckerpath always tracks location, even when closed and removed from recents. The only way to stop it, is going to Apps and click on Force Stop. No other apps do that, they all stop showing location notification after exiting.
I emailed the developer, but have not gotten response yet. It sure is annoying to always be tracked
Truckerpath is always tracking location

Who's watching?
Tell me who's watching.
Who's watching me?
I'm just an average man, with an average life.
I work from nine to five; hey hell, I pay the price.
All I want is to be left alone in my average home;
But why do I always feel like I'm in the Twilight Zone, and
I always feel like somebody's watching me.
And I have no privacy.
Woh, I always feel like somebody's watching me.
Tell me is it just a dream?
When I come home at night.
I bolt the door real tight.
People call me on the phone I'm trying to avoid.
Well, can the people on T.V. see me.
Or am I just paranoid?
When I'm in the shower.
I'm afraid to wash my hair.
'Cause I might open my eyes
And find someone standing there.
People say I'm crazy.
Just a little touched.
But maybe showers remind me of
"Psycho" too much.
That's why. . .
I always feel like somebody's watching me.
And I have no privacy.
Woh, I always feel like somebody's watching me.
Who's playing tricks on me?
Who's watching me?
I don't know anymore . . . are the neighbors watching
Who's watching?
Well, it's the mailman watching me: and I don't feel safe anymore.
Tell me who's watching.
Oh, what a mess. I wonder who's watching me now,
(WHO?) the I.R.S.?
I always feel like somebody's watching me.
And I have no privacy.
Woh, I always feel like somebody's watching me.
Who's playing tricks on me?
I always feel like somebody's watching me.
I always feel like somebody's watching me.
I always feel like somebody's watching me.
I always feel like somebody's watching me.
I always feel like somebody's watching me.
I always feel like somebody's watching me.
And I have no privacy.
Woh, I always feel like somebody's watching me.
I can't enjoy my tea.
I always feel like somebody's watching me.
I want my privacy.
Woh, I always feel like somebody's watching me.
Woh, I always feel like somebody's watching me.
Stop playing tricks on me
Woh, I always feel like somebody's watching me.20 Mule Team, Camera66, tech10171968 and 3 others Thank this. -
How can you tell?

Not sure how android works but in iOS you can go into Settings > Privacy > Location Services and configure how the app will behave in that regard ... even when not active or loaded.

the location icon notification stays on until you force close the app

I"m not seeing that option in settings on android. And nothing is telling me there's an updated app. So I"m assuming it's updated. My playstore is set for auto updates.

I realize Android (Google) doesn't place a very high priority on privacy but it's hard to believe Android users can't somehow restrict apps ability to announce location. But to be fair, privacy and modern apps and technology, don't often go together. But this is part of the reason why Google Maps Traffic is so comprehensive and accurate, from remote rural America to urban metro areasCasanovaCruiser Thanks this.

I can't stand the fact that they need permission from just about everything in my cell phone before they'll install. I can understand SOME apps needing to use SOME things. But most of them just go way overboard and need access or permission to absolutely NOTHING.20 Mule Team and CorsairFanboy Thank this.
