Seriously considering going with this company as an experienced driver,so after the 3 week combined orientation and training i'm just trying to get a ball park figure on weekly take home pay as a Van driver averaging between 2k to 3k miles/week? Any help appreciated. Thanks!

I'm to start with the company on the 27th of Nov. I've been a (teen) driver for 5 1/2 years. Meaning kudos to you seasoned drivers with 20+ years. I've found myself in very interesting situations with companies. Including but not limited to pay, routes and home time. I guess I'm wanting to know if Schneider is a overall good company?

From what I understand from drivers I know who have worked there it is one of the better places to get your start. That is evidenced by the fact that many drivers choose to stay long after they hit that magical 1-year experience mark that opens more doors to other companies that will hire you. They seem to train well and run a pretty tight ship in Pumpkinville.

Why would you have to do 3 weeks combined orientation and training if you are an experienced driver for any company ??
