Ya I've been dispatched multiple times on a load going to Florida and I always end up dropping it somewhere. Agreed on the frontage roads of Texas, I dont get the point, much like the stupid ### round a bout happy state of Wisc lol.
Why why why is it always such a pain in the ### to get an empty trailer whenever we deliver in the Menomonie/Eau Claire area. I swear everytime I deliver up here I have to play hide and seek with fn empties. Delivered in Menomonie to WalMart no empty. Now headed for Eau Claire to start the hide and seek game. If anyone is headed to Memphis for Mon morn let me know. We should be there Sun evening after a lil hang out at home.

That is the one area that I never have issues, perhaps it's luck. Trying to get an empty at Richfield? That's another story. I usually end up with some raggedy '07 if there is even a trailer available. I'm happy to see that someone agrees with me on those Texas frontage roads. My dad thinks they are awesome, and helpful. They are in fact retarded and worthless. But I guess it goes with the territory. Backwards state, backwards roads.

I always seem to have issues up here with empties. But Menards actually had 1 so hide and seek is over lol. Off to my 2nd home...La Crosse.

Unless your home is on a hillside in an area with torrential rains it will never slide off the road, and unless it is hit by a tornado your bank is going to know exactly where your home is at all times. The only way another vehicle will hit your home is if your home is near the side of the road or a catastrophic event has occurred to the driver. It's all about potential risk. Put a $25,000 addition on your home and the insurance will go up a little. Add a $25,000 swimming pool and watch your insurance go up just a "little bit" higher. Same dollars, more risk.
Also, the bank doesn't know the difference between you and your energy and discipline and motivation as opposed to someone else who comes in and weaves a magical tale of money to be made on the open road and stops making payments 7 months into the adventure.
Good luck with your house hunting (and house payments).

One more home time chore completed. Just got done seeing my doctor for my annual checkup. This junkie is in perfect health
On to my previous chore already in progress... Cleaning up my credit report

I think it has a lot to do with the fact that the second that truck rolls off the lot it’s value drops, as do all new vehicles, and will continue to drop every year. So if for some reason you ball on your auto loan they are never going to recoup their loss fully, thus you have to have better credit to assure them you aren’t going to flake out on the loan. A house on the other hand is usually going to do the opposite and gain value over time, so if you stop paying the loan and lose the home they are going to be able to sell that home to someone else and possibly make even more money than they would have before. The dollar amount of the loan may be the same but the long term value of what is being purchased and the risks associated with it are not. Hope that makes sense.

Polishing your credit, niice. Never heard it put like that before. @FalconsFan21 is probably right. All about appreciation and depreciation, and risks envolved.
FalconsFan21 Thanks this. -
Yeah, probably. But again, doesn't matter now. I'm set, just gotta take care of a couple credit issues.FalconsFan21 and Waterboy334 Thank this.

There's a sound you won't hear in the city... Got some folks sighting in their shotguns and getting ready for deer season. God I love living close to the country. That's when I know Thanksgiving is truly coming
Airmech and FalconsFan21 Thank this.
