Knuckleheads need to learn to use a lower gear.

I've come down that hill heavy before, 8th gear and redlining at about 50, and never smelled brakes.

That would be the same class of moron I saw not one but FOUR of crossing the Bay Bridge eastbound in the reversible lane on the westbound span today. It's not like there aren't signs all over the place prohibiting that to trucks.

It was even more fun back when it was still US-48, primarily between Cumberland and Hancock.

Try US-40 heading out towards Uniontown, PA. Now that's work, especially without an engine brake.

I'll never forget my first trip back through there with a pair of heavy pups thanks be to some idiot losing a load of sulfuric acid on the PA Turnpike.

    bzinger Thanks this.
